Established in 1984, The Castle Pines North Metro District (CPNMD) provides sustainable, high-quality, safe, reliable on-demand drinking water and wastewater services to approximately 12,000 residents and additional commercial customers through over 4,000 service connections. CPNMD serves residents of the City of Castle Pines, west of I-25, in Douglas County. Customers include those living within its boundaries and residents of Hidden Pointe. The District also services Daniels Park, ensuring that the buffalo herd and caretakers have sufficient, safe water. In addition to its renewable water contract with Highlands Ranch Water, CPNMD is working with other regional providers to expand collaboration and enhance regional sustainable water supply connections.
